Ohjaajalegenda Steven Spielbergin viimeisin elokuva, omaelämäkerrallinen The Fabelmans (2022) on ohjaajan rakkaudenosoitus elokuvataiteelle. Elokuva seuraa elokuvaohjaajan urasta unelmoivan Sammy Fabelmanin (Gabriel LaBelle) kasvutarinaa seitsemänvuotiaasta nuoreksi aikuiseksi, käyden läpi lapsuuden ja nuoruuden ylä- ja alamäet ensimmäisistä elokuvakokemuksista ensirakkauteen ja isojen perhesalaisuuksien paljastumiseen. Legendary director Steven Spielberg’s latest film, the autobiographical The Fabelmans (2022), is a testament to the director’s love for the art of cinema. The film follows the growth of Sammy Fabelman (Gabriel LaBelle), a seven-year-old aspiring filmmaker, from childhood to adulthood, going through the ups and downs of childhood and adolescence, from his first film experiences to first love and the revelation of big family secrets. Like the director’s films, The Fabelmans is a touching, larger-than-life film that was recognized at the 2023 Oscars with a total of seven nominations.
