Joulukuun biitsileffat aloittaa vangitseva The Beach! Trainspotting-ohjaaja Danny Boylen elokuvassa Thaimaassa reppureissaava Richard (Leonardo DiCaprio) saa käsiinsä salaperäisen kartan, joka johdattaa hänet ystävineen syrjäiselle paratiisisaarelle. Paratiisilta vaikuttava saari kätkee kuitenkin sisäänsä salaperäisen yhteisön, joka ei katso uusia tulokkaita hyvällä.

December’s beach movie series kicks off with the captivating The Beach! In this film by Trainspotting director Danny Boyle, backpacker Richard (Leonardo DiCaprio) finds a mysterious map in Thailand that leads him and his friends to a remote paradise island. However, the island, which seems like paradise, hides a secretive community that does not welcome newcomers with open arms.
