Speed dating -tapahtuma kämppiksen etsimiseen

Kimppa-asuminen on parhaimmillaan parasta, kun on sopivat tyypit ympärillä. Meillä kaikilla on kuitenkin omat toiveemme ja tarpeemme kämppisten ja asunnon suhteen. Tämä herätti ajatuksen Kämppisdeitti-tapahtumasta, jossa pääsee tutustumaan kasvotusten, etsi sitten yhtä tai useampaa kämppistä, joiden kanssa muuttaa yhteen, tai oli sitten etsimässä uutta kämppistä nykyiseen kimppakämppään.

TAPAHTUMAN OHJELMA JA AIKATAULU
Järjestämme kaikille avoimet ja ilmaiset Kämppisdeitit maanantaina 27.10.2025. Tapahtuma alkaa klo 17 ja kestää noin 19.30 asti. Tapahtuman puolivälissä pidetään 15 minuutin tauko. Saavu paikalle ajoissa, sillä tapahtuma alkaa tasalta ja tapahtumassa on minuuttiaikataulu. Tapahtumaan ei voi osallistua kesken kierroksen.

Osallistujat tapaavat toisiaan speed date -tyyliin 5 minuutin ajan. Ennakkotietolomakkeen kysymyksiä ja vastauksia voi käyttää apuna, kun tässä tiiviissä ajassa selvitätte mahdollisuudet muodostaa match. Osallistujat kirjaavat lapuille niiden osallistujien nimen ja osallistujanumeron, joiden kanssa he haluaisivat vaihtaa yhteystietoja. Tapahtuman päätteeksi laput jätetään järjestäjälle. Ilmoitamme lapun jättäneille muodostuneet osumat myöhemmin sähköpostilla. Matchin muodostaminen ei luonnollisestikaan velvoita ketään mihinkään, vaan se mahdollistaa tapahtumassa aloitettujen keskustelujen syventämisen.

ILMOITTAUTUMINEN
Ilmoittauduthan etukäteen lomakkeen kautta. Tapahtumassa on rajallinen määrä paikkoja. Toivomme, että jos etsitte valmiiseen kimppakämppään uutta asukasta, ruokakunnasta korkeintaan yksi henkilö ilmoittautuu tapahtumaan. Jos joudut perumaan tapahtuman, ilmoitathan siitä sähköpostitse: kia_k(at)hotmail.fi.

Saat osallistumisvahvistuksen sähköpostilla viimeistään 26.10.

Ilmoittautumislomakkeen lisäksi suosittelemme täyttämään myös esitietolomakkeen, jossa voit kertoa omista toiveistasi asuntoa ja kämppistä kohtaan. Katsothan, että täytät oikean lomakkeen: Esitietolomakkeita on kahta erilaista. Toinen on sellaisille, joilla on jo valmiina huone, johon kämppistä etsitään ja toinen sellaisille, jotka etsivät itselleen huonetta tai kämppiksiä, joiden kanssa lähteä etsimään sopivaa asuntoa.

Esitietolomakkeen täyttäminen on vapaaehtoista, ja sen on tarkoitus auttaa sinua selkiyttämään omia toiveitasi. Pyrimme tulostamaan 22.10. mennessä täytetyt esitietolomakkeet kullekin osallistujille itselleen. Tutustuessanne toisiinne voitte käydä läpi esitietolomakkeeseen tietoja. Voit myös kirjoittaa vastauksesi esitietolomakkeen kysymyksiin esimerkiksi puhelimesi muistiinpanoihin.

KALASATAMAN VAPAAKAUPUNGIN OLOHUONE
Kalasataman Vapaakaupungin Olohuone on kaupunkilaisten yhteisötila REDI-kauppakeskuksessa. (Hermannin rantatie 5, 00580 Helsinki) Tilat löytyvät 2. kerroksesta länteen menevälle metrolle johtavien liukuportaiden juurelta, Normalin vierestä. WC:t sijaitsevat kauppakeskuksen tiloissa.

Vapaakaupungin Olohuoneessa noudatetaan turvallisemman tilan periaatteita. Tapahtumassa ei sallita minkäänlaista rasismia, häirintää tai muuta epäasiallista käytöstä. Jos turvallisemman tilan periaatteita rikotaan, voit kertoa siitä järjestäjälle tai henkilökunnalle, jotka puuttuvat tilanteeseen.

Co-living can be fantastic when you’ve got the right people around. But we all have our own preferences and needs when it comes to roommates and apartments. That’s what sparked the idea for the Roommate Dating event — a chance to meet face-to-face, whether you’re looking for one or more people to move in with, or you’re trying to find someone to join an existing shared apartment.

EVENT SCHEDULE
We’re organizing an open and free Roommate Dating event on Monday, October 27, 2025, at Vapaakaupungin Olohuone. The event starts at 17:00 and runs until approximately 19:30. There will be a 15-minute break halfway through the event. Please arrive on time, as the event kicks off right at 17:00 and runs on a tight schedule. You won’t be able to join in the middle of event.

Participants will meet each other speed-dating style for 5 minutes at a time. You can use the questions and answers from the pre-information form to help guide your conversations and figure out if there’s a potential match. During the event, you’ll write down the name and number of the participants you’d like to exchange contact info with. At the end of the event, these notes will be handed to the organizers, and we’ll email you later with any matches that were made.

Of course, a match doesn’t obligate you to anything — it’s just a chance to continue the conversation started during the event.

REGISTRATION
Please register in advance using the registration form. Space is limited. If you’re representing an existing shared flat looking for a new housemate, we kindly ask that only one person per household signs up for the event. If you need to cancel, please let us know by email: kia_k(at)hotmail.fi.

You’ll receive a confirmation email by October 26 at the latest.

In addition to the registration form, we recommend filling out a pre-info form, where you can share your wishes and expectations about the apartment and your future roommate(s). Make sure to fill out the correct form — there are two different ones:

– One for those who already have a room available and are looking for someone to move in
– Another for those looking for a room or roommates to find a place with

Filling out the pre-info form is optional and meant to help you clarify your own preferences. We aim to print and hand out the forms submitted by October 22 to each participant at the event. You can also use your phone to write down answers to the questions in the form.

KALASATAMAN VAPAAKAUPUNGIN OLOHUONE
Vapaakaupungin Olohuone is a community space located in the REDI shopping center (Hermannin rantatie 5, 00580 Helsinki). The space is on the 2nd floor near the escalators leading westbound to the metro, right next to Normal. Toilets are located in the shopping center facilities.

The event follows the safer space principles of Vapaakaupungin Olohuone. Any form of racism, harassment, or inappropriate behavior is not tolerated. If you experience or witness a breach of these principles, please speak to the organizers or staff — they will intervene.
