Vapaakaupunki Film Nights present European films in the month of February in 2026! The film screening are held on Wednesdays at 7pm, free admission.

A feature-length documentary about a Slovak court photographer of The Beatles, who also collaborated with The Rolling Stones and many other rock stars in the second half of the 20th century. The documentary reveals the importance of Dežo Hoffmann’s influence on the development of photography in the world of pop music through the story of the photographer’s fateful meeting with The Beatles, at the beginning of their world fame. Their intensive collaboration between 1962 and 1967 was crucial for the iconic musicians and his photographs have become a significant part of the history.
